In a few weeks, fans ofHarry Potter will be able to get their hands on the open-world adventure game Hogwarts Legacy. The title, which has been revealed through several trailers so far, has many surprises in store for us in terms of its plot, but also and above all with regard to its gameplay. If you haven’t been following, or have been avoiding trailers like the plague, here are 3 activities you can do in Hogwarts Legacy. And if not, here are the 5 things to know before playing.
ride your broom
Like any self-respecting wizard, you will be able to use a broom. Not to clean your common room, but rather to move around. The studio says it’sone of the main means of transport within the game and that you can use your carriage to tour Hogwarts and its surroundings.
A disappointment all the same you will not be able to participate in Quidditch matches. A magical sport with a reputation for violence, it was perhaps too much of a challenge for the development teams. You can, however, participate in broom races, which should be just as challenging.
Ride Magical Creatures
Who says wizarding world, necessarily says magical creatures. If they were particularly honored in the trilogy of Fantastic Beaststhey are also found in Hogwarts Legacy. Some species will even be new and we have already been able to see some of them. But maybe you didn’t know thatit will be possible to tame some of them and make mounts of them.
Here is another means of travel that we are likely to appreciate. The studio does not detail the name of the creatures that can be mounted, but it should be species such as hippogriffs or thestrals (still need to be able to see them). Reply on next February 10.
Go to the Room of Requirement
Finally, Warner Bros. Games confirms that players will be able to visit the room on demand. The emblematic place should allow us to improve our abilities, although it is not yet known to what extent. We remember that in the 5th film, the Room of Requirement serves as a refuge for Dumbledore’s army and that his followers also used it to improve themselves in combat.
