The dead body of a 7-year-old girl, who was raped and murdered, was found on Friday in Quaidabad area of Karachi. Police and hospital officials gave this information. According to Dawn’s report, the body was found on the plot of an under-construction building near Mengal School in Muslimabad Colony, Landhi. A large number of local people gathered at the spot and expressed their anger over this unfortunate incident.
Malir SSP Irfan Bahadur said that the girl had gone missing on Thursday and her body was found on Friday. He said the police were waiting for the doctors’ report before taking further legal action. The body of the minor has been sent to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) to complete the legal formalities.
According to Dawn news, police surgeon Sumaiya Syed said, the body of the minor, which was brought from Thana Quaidabad area, had multiple injuries all over the body, especially on the head. He said that preliminary examination has revealed that the girl has been raped, the body parts of the girl have been severely damaged. Swabs are prepared for semen serology, DNA profiling and cross matching. The cause of death from the postmortem has been revealed as strangulation. However, samples of the intestine have been preserved for toxicological examination.

This is not the first time that girl children have become victims, according to police officials, last month a homeless minor girl from flood-affected Shikarpur was abducted and gang-raped near Abdullah Shah Ghazi Dargah in Clifton area of Karachi. was raped. The police surgeon confirmed that the 10-year-old girl had gone missing and was brought to JPMC by her mother in a critical condition.
She was examined by a lady medico-legal officer at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH). According to the Dawn report, a doctor had said, the investigation revealed violent vaginal rape and physical injuries.
