The dead body of a 7-year-old girl, who was raped and murdered, was found on Friday in Quaidabad area of Karachi. Police and hospital officials gave this information. Malir SSP Irfan Bahadur said that the girl had gone missing on Thursday and her body was found on Friday. He said the police were waiting for the doctors’ report before taking further legal action. The body of the minor has been sent to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) to complete the legal formalities.
According to Dawn news, police surgeon Sumaiya Syed said, the body of the minor, which was brought from Thana Quaidabad area, had multiple injuries all over the body, especially on the head. He said that preliminary examination has revealed that the girl has been raped, the body parts of the girl have been severely damaged. Swabs are prepared for semen serology, DNA profiling and cross matching. The cause of death from the postmortem has been revealed as strangulation. However, samples of the intestine have been preserved for toxicological examination.
