Snow sports and skiing are great fun. But if an avalanche occurs during skiing or mountaineering, it can be extremely dangerous.
Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland with a height of 4,411 feet. Here a 49-year-old British climber died after falling from a height. He was buried in the snow after being hit by an avalanche. However, his companion’s life was saved. The injured have been admitted to Belford Hospital in Fort William, while the body of the deceased has been handed over to his family members.
