According to testimonies, the bear is seen hanging from a window on the top floor of a house that it entered through a window on the floor below. Fortunately, the residents were not home, so the neighbors called the police.
Ryan MacFarlane, the owner, explained what happened to the local news channel FOX31 that the animal ate almost everything that was in the fridge and caused various damages, “She got her nails in and ripped out the window, and she went in and helped herself to the pork chops she had for dinner that night.took some snacks from the pantry and threw the plants”.

After learning of the event, Kris Middledorf, director of Wildlife for the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Area (CPW), assured that this bear has been involved in at least three burglaries in homes in the Blue Sage neighborhood and has successfully evaded the traps that have been set. “If the bear is captured, it will be euthanized.”, warned the official.
