London. There are many reports of murder by stabbing in Britain these days. A 38-year-old man of Indian origin was stabbed to death in London. At the same time, just two days before this, a shocking incident of knife attack had come to light, in which a British Indian teenager and a student from Hyderabad had died.
The officer said that on June 16, information was received that a person had been stabbed and injured. When police reached the spot, 30-year-old Arvind Sasikumar was found injured. Even after treatment, he died on the spot at around 1:30 in the night.
The investigation found that Salman Salim, 25, of Southampton-Way, was accused of murder. He appeared in this matter at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on 17 June, from where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 20 June.
Police said Sasikumar’s family has been informed. At the same time, a spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said that when we received information about the incident, several resources were sent. A trauma team was also dispatched by air ambulance, consisting of a paramedic and a doctor in a car. The man could not be saved even after the enormous efforts of the doctors, he said.
Let me tell you, recently two more people were stabbed to death. British Indian teens Grace O’Malley Kumar, 19, and Tejaswini Koontham, 27, from Hyderabad, were killed in two separate incidents. On 14 June, Coontham was found stabbed to death at a residential property in north London. Two people have been arrested on charges of murder. In a separate incident the same day, Kumar was killed in a knife attack while returning from a night out with her friend Barnaby Weber.
