A man claiming to be the spokesperson of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has alleged that the plot to attack PTI chairman Imran Khan and murder of journalist Arshad Sharif was hatched in London. This thing has been said in the media report. According to a private TV channel, Tasneem Haider Shah, who has been associated with the PML-N for 20 years, told reporters that she had three meetings with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif at his son Hassan Nawaz’s office. According to the news of The Express Tribune, it was alleged that he was called to kill the journalist and former Prime Minister.
According to Shah, the first meeting took place on 8 July, the second on 20 September and the third on 29 October. He said he was told that Arshad Sharif and Khan should be removed before the new army chief is appointed. He alleged that Nawaz Sharif had told him that if he could provide the shooter, he (PML-N) would give space in Wazirabad and the blame would fall on the Punjab government. Shah said that he refused Nawaz’s offer.
According to the news of The Express Tribune, Shah also said that the British police had been informed about the conspiracy. However, PML-N spokesperson and Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb denied the allegations and said Shah had no connection with her party. He warned that no one should try to become the spokesperson of the PML-N by force.
