Rail traffic was affected due to crack in the railway track between Jawar-Kharwa Chanda railway section on Ajmer division of North Western Railway in Rajasthan. Asarwa-Udaipur City and Udaipur City-Asarwa rail services have been partially cancelled. It is being told that a major accident was averted due to the timely detection of a crack in the railway track.
According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer, North Western Railway, train number 19704 Asarwa-Udaipur City Rail service leaving Asarwa today will operate up to Dungarpur and is partially canceled between Dungarpur-Udaipur City stations.
He said that the train number 19703 Udaipur City-Asarwa Rail service leaving Udaipur would operate from Dungarpur and it would be partially canceled between Udaipur City-Dungarpur stations.
