Alishah told that Dawood does not keep in touch with anyone but his wife Mahjabeen definitely contacts every member of the family present in India through WhatsApp call on every festival and every occasion. He told that Dawood Ibrahim has developed such a system to run ‘D Company’, so that his orders can reach directly to his people. NIA has got information about the networking system of ‘D Company’, through which after many filters, its orders used to reach its operatives through Chhota Shakeel.

NIA investigation revealed that arrested Arif Abubakar Shaikh alias Arif Bhaijaan and his brother Shabbir Shaikh had built such a strong network of communication with Chhota Shakeel that even the investigating agencies were not aware. Chhota Shakeel’s brother-in-law Arif used to record an encrypted message to contact ‘D Company’ and then send it to Shabbir Sheikh. Shabbir would send this message to D Company’s middleman and handler Zaid sitting in Dubai and then Zaid’s message would reach Chhota Shakeel sitting in Karachi and then Dawood.
