According to news agency ANI, the intensity of this earthquake, which occurred at 3.42 am 145 km north-west of Amritsar in Punjab, was measured at 4.1 on the Richter scale. According to the National Center for Seismology, this earthquake occurred at a depth of 120 kilometers under the ground.

Earthquake tremors were felt in two separate incidents in Delhi and surrounding areas last week. The first earthquake came after the Nepal earthquake on November 9 and its epicenter was 6.3 on the Richter scale in Nepal. Strong tremors were also felt on 12 November after a 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal again.
