Sol. At least 30 people were injured in an eight-vehicle crash in South Korea’s eastern province of Gangwon. Yonhap News Agency gave this information in its report on Friday. According to reports, at around 1:26 p.m. local time, four school trip buses, three trucks and a passenger car collided head-on.
The accident happened in Hongcheon county, about 100 km east of the capital Seoul. About 30 people were slightly injured in the accident, the agency said, citing fire officials and police.
The buses carried students and teachers from a middle school in Seoul. Fire officials and police sent 12 pieces of equipment and some 30 rescuers to the scene while investigating the exact cause of the accident.
