FIFA: France in semi-finals for the second time in a row, Morocco will fight for the final

France in semi-finals for the second time in a row, Morocco will fight for the final.

Defending champions France reached their second consecutive FIFA World Cup semi-final after beating England 2–1 in the quarter-finals. Here he will face Morocco. France beat England for the first time in the World Cup. Earlier in 1966 and 1982, England had defeated France.

France’s Orléan Chumeny scored a goal in the 17th minute of the match to give his team a 1-0 lead. Harry Cain equalized for England with a penalty shot in the second half of the match. In the 78th minute, France’s Olivier Giraud scored a goal to take his team to the semi-finals.

At the same time, Morocco became the first African team to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup after defeating Portugal 1–0 in the quarter-finals. This team is currently looking in excellent form and has not lost a single match during its journey in this World Cup.

In this way France qualified for the semi-finals for the second time in a row. Now on December 14, France will face Morocco in the semi-finals. At the same time, on December 13, Argentina’s team will face Croatia.
