Over 50 shops were destroyed in a massive fire at the wholesale market Bhagirath Palace in Chandni Chowk in North Delhi. Police gave this information. Police said that efforts are still on to control the fire that broke out on Thursday evening. He said that there is no news of any casualty in the incident so far.
According to the fire department, they received information about the fire at 9.19 pm on Thursday night and 40 fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the spot. At present, 20 fire tenders are engaged in the operation to control the fire.

The fire broke out in a shop in the market, which quickly spread to other shops, officials said. All the shops are of electrical appliances.
