Islamabad. Four members of a family drowned in a dam in Jhelum district of Pakistan’s East Punjab province. According to media reports, the accident took place on Thursday when a man was swimming in the Raja Khalid Dam along with his two sons and another relative.
Rescue service personnel said that on getting information about the incident, police and rescuers rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies from the dam. Police have sent the bodies to a local hospital for post-mortem and investigation into the incident is underway.
