A hotel worker raped a girl who came with her friends to celebrate the new year in a hotel in Ghaziabad. The girl’s friends were having a party in another room. The girl had come to sleep in her room after the party. On the complaint of the girl, the police registered a case of rape and arrested the accused hotel worker.
According to the information received from the police, the 29-year-old girl reached the Elegant Hotel located in the Link Road police station area of Ghaziabad on the morning of January 1 after celebrating the New Year with five of her friends. Here he booked 3 rooms. After partying in room number 113, the girl went to sleep. While the rest of his friends started having a drink party in room number 112.
In the statement given to the police, the girl told that she was very intoxicated due to excessive drinking. That’s why she went to her room and slept. The victim told the police that during this time she realized that a boy wearing a sweat shirt was lying next to her and doing dirty work. When the girl got up, the accused fled.
When the victim turned on the light in her room, her clothes were in disarray, there were traces of blood on the sheet. At around 4:30 in the morning, the girl called her friends to her room and narrated the whole incident. After this they all reached the reception. When asked to show the footage of the CCTV camera, the camera was told to be faulty. After this, the girl’s friends called the police. The police gathered all the employees of the hotel and made them stand in a line and then made the victim undergo an identification parade.
During this, the victim recognized the accused hotel employee. He was identified as Subodh. The police arrested the accused from there and brought him to the police station. On January 2, the victim lodged an FIR against Subodh under section 376. The police have also taken the bedsheet of the hotel room in their possession, whose DNA test will be done.
