A young man living in the live-in strangled his girlfriend and cut her body into 35 pieces. He used to go out in the middle of the night to dispose of the entire dead body. About 6 months after the murder, the police arrested the accused. In fact, Aftab Amin Poonawalla, accused of killing his 26-year-old live-in partner Shraddha Walker and then missing the dead body, has been arrested by the police in Delhi about 5 months ago.
Police have registered a case of murder against accused Aftab and the body of Shraddha is being searched. According to the information, Aftab had killed Shraddha and cut her body into 35 pieces and threw them in different areas of Delhi. Let us inform that on November 8, 59-year-old Vikas Madan Walker had lodged an FIR of kidnapping of his daughter at Mehrauli police station in Delhi.
Actually, 26-year-old Shraddha Walker used to work in the call center of a multinational company in Mumbai. While there Shraddha met Aftab Amin. The two became friends and then started liking. After that they started living in live-in relation. When the family came to know about this relationship, they opposed it. But both of them decided to live together. After the protest, Shraddha and Aftab left Mumbai and started living in Chhatarpur area of Mehrauli. Later, when the family members tried to contact her, Shraddha’s mobile was found switched off.
Shraddha Walker’s father told that he lives in Palghar, Maharashtra along with his family. When he reached Shraddha’s flat in Chhatarpur on November 8, where the daughter lived on rent, the door of the flat was found locked. Then he reached Mehrauli police station and lodged an FIR with the police. The police arrested Aftab on Saturday.
According to the police, Aftab told that Shraddha often used to pressurize him to get married. There was a fight between the two over this. On May 18, during a quarrel, he strangled Shraddha to death. After this, the body was cut into several pieces and thrown in different areas of Delhi. He has also confessed that he kept throwing the body pieces at different places for 18 days. He had kept a big fridge to keep the dead body.
