Chennai has found Dhoni’s successor? Who is Bravo’s replacement?
Despite finishing at the 9th position in the 2022 IPL, Chennai has retained most of them, reposing faith in their old players. However, Bravo, who proved to be Dhoni’s trump card for a long time, is not on the pitch this time helping out from the dugout as bowling coach and the team is trying to find his replacement. Along with this, the team management also needs the successor of captain Dhoni as soon as possible, which could possibly be the last IPL. As a replacement for Bravo, he may be eyeing Sam Curran, who has already played 23 matches for the team.
Royal Challenger Bangalore looking for opener, Mayank Agarwal to be eyed?
In the 2022 season, Bangalore won 8 and lost 6 games in the group stage. The team qualified for the Eliminator but was ousted by the Rajasthan Royals, captained by Sanju Samson. The franchise has released only 4 players before the mini auction and has kept its core team intact. Bangalore is in dire need of a good opener, captain Faf du Plessis can handle one end, but he needs support from the other end as well. Remember that Punjab has released Mayank Agarwal and Agarwal with a base price of 1 crore can fill this slot for Bangalore. Also, like almost every team, Bangalore would like to target all-rounder Sam Curran, who can support Wanindu Hasaranga and Josh Hazlewood in the bowling department and also contribute with the bat.
