Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena wrote a letter to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, directing him to remove Jasmine Shah from the post of Vice-Chairman of the Dialogue and Development Commission (DDC). Shah is accused of misusing his position to meet political objectives.
The Lieutenant Governor has banned all government services and facilities to DDCD Vice Chairman Jasmine Shah with immediate effect. The office chamber of the Vice Chairman of DDC located at 33 Shamnath Marg, Delhi has been sealed so that no one can enter the office.
BJP MP Parvesh Verma had complained that Jasmine Shah, despite being the Vice President of DDCD, was working as a spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party. After receiving this complaint, action was taken against Shah.

BJP leaders have expressed gratitude to the LG for relieving AAP leader Jasmine Shah from the post of DDC vice-chairman, who was doing political campaign by misusing government resources.
AAP leader Jasmine Shah was made the vice-chairman of the Dialogue and Development Commission of Delhi four years ago. DDC is considered to be the think tank of Delhi Government. He has the responsibility of preparing and implementing schemes related to public interest.
