Senior BJP leader and former Prime Minister LK Advani turned 95 today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Advani’s house and wished him on his birthday.
The Prime Minister visits Advani every year to wish him on his birthday. This time too he congratulated Advani by handing over a bouquet.
Rajnath Singh tweeted that he went to the residence of respected Advaniji and wished him a happy birthday. I pray to God for his good health and long life.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has congratulated by tweeting. He wrote that a very happy birthday to respected LK Advani ji. Advani ji, on one hand, strengthened the organization across the country with his continuous hard work, while on the other hand, while being in the government, made an invaluable contribution to the development of the country. I pray to God for his good health and long life.
Advani was born in a Sindhi Hindu family in the city of Karachi in Sindh province (now Pakistan). He was the Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the country in the government of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The biggest credit for the rise of the BJP on the national horizon is given to Advani. In the 80s, he took out a yatra to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya, and after that the BJP’s support base continued to grow across the country.
