Moscow. The Military Committee meeting of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to be held in Brussels from January 18 to 19 will discuss issues of strategic importance to the alliance. The released statement said, “Admiral Rob Bauer will chair the military committee meeting.
The meeting will be attended by defense chiefs of friendly countries and their counterparts from Finland and Sweden as invitees. They are supported by Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Christopher Cavoli and Supreme Allied Commander Transformation General Philippe Lavigne will each lead one session.” The committee will discuss security challenges to the alliance, the Ukraine crisis, the situation in Kosovo and NATO’s efforts to assist Iraq.
