cod. The Oceangate submarine missing near the Titanic wreck site is likely to have experienced a mid-ocean explosion before reaching its destination, marine exploration experts have said. Marine exploration expert David Gallo told Sky News on Thursday: “If she was not there (at the wreck site), then something must have happened in the middle of the water that caused her to lose power or radio communications.” Done.” He said the timeline of the underwater campaign showed that things had already gotten out of control in mid-water, not on the ocean floor. Contact with the submarine was lost about an hour and 45 minutes after submerging, while it takes two hours to reach the bottom.

Gallo described Paul-Henri Nargiolet, one of the passengers aboard the submersible, as his “best friend”. The worst-case scenario “is a potentially catastrophic explosion which would be terrible,” he said. He added that he does not know how a craft “could disappear so quickly.” The Oceangate submarine went missing on Sunday while towing the Titanic wreckage to a depth of about 13,000 feet, about 900 miles east of Cape Cod in the North Atlantic. The submersible has a capacity of five people and an oxygen supply that can last for 96 hours.

The search and rescue operation is going on since Monday morning. The US Coast Guard has said that the submarine, if not damaged and still working, could run out of oxygen by 10.30 am on Thursday. On Sunday, a tourist submarine named ‘Titan’, which had set out in the Atlantic Ocean to see the wreckage of the Titanic, suddenly disappeared off the coast of southeast Canada. There were five people including the pilot in it. In which Britain’s billionaire businessman Hamish Harding is.
