Giving a big gift to the passengers, the Delhi government has implemented this facility through ONE Delhi APP. This facility has been given in more than 7300 buses on 500 bus routes of Delhi.
What is ONE Delhi APP? The Delhi government has launched an app called One Delhi App to make transportation easier. An attempt has been made to bring the entire transport of Delhi together on this app. Efforts have been made to provide a lot of convenience to the daily traveler through this app.
This mobile app has been developed by the Delhi government in association with Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi.
What will the ONE Delhi APP tell? Apart from the live location of the BUS, this app also provides the facility to buy bus tickets online, information of nearby EV stations, and a direction map if you want to go somewhere.
Will I have to pay too? No! This app of Delhi government is absolutely free. Any person can use it. You just need to recharge the data in your phone. Without turning on mobile data, you will not be able to take advantage of its features.
How to see live location of bus?
- First of all, install One Delhi APP on your mobile Android or IOS.
- After that fill your name, gender, email and mobile number and hit the submit button.
- On clicking submit, OTP will be sent to your mobile, fill it and save it.
- After this the homepage of the app will open in front of you, there will be many options on it.
- First of all click on ‘Bus’ option. After this, information about the nearby bus stand will be shown. A map will also appear above in which you will be able to see the live location of the bus.
Why was it needed? Even today, many people do not travel by bus in Delhi, which is a big reason why people do not know about the bus route. Traffic jam is also a reason for this.
