A police constable was assaulted and looted in Jaipur city. The incident took place on Friday night when three unidentified miscreants allegedly assaulted and looted a police constable posted in the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
The police is investigating the matter According to the police, Constable Sunil Kumar (34) took an e-rickshaw near Gurudwara Mor to go outside Pink Square Mall in Adarsh Nagar. Adarsh Nagar SHO Sajjan Kavia said the accused were already present in the e-rickshaw and threatened the constable with a knife.

He said that the accused covered their faces and beat them in the moving e-rickshaw. They robbed the constable of his wallet with Rs 5000, ATM card and mobile. The miscreants took the constable to Jagatpura where they dropped him off. According to the official, an FIR has been registered and the accused are being searched.
