MADRID, 19 Jan. (.) –

The Russian ambassador to the United States, Anatoli Antonov, accused the US State Department on Wednesday of pushing the Ukrainian authorities to commit terrorist acts in Russia.

Asked about the statements of the State Department spokesman, Ned Price, on the possibility of Ukraine using US weapons in Crimea, Antonov has assured that Washington has an “increasingly militant” rhetoric, the TASS agency reported.

“The State Department, through its detached statements that ‘Crimea is Ukraine,’ and the Ukrainian Armed Forces can use US weapons to protect its territory, in fact pushes the kyiv regime to commit terrorist acts. in Russia”, stressed the Russian ambassador to the United States.

“Hearing such comments from Washington, kyiv’s criminals will once again feel complete permissiveness. The risks of an escalation of the conflict will only intensify,” Antonov said, according to the aforementioned agency.

Meanwhile, he has launched an attack on journalists from the United States who, according to Antonov, “justify the attacks” by kyiv on Crimea by supporting “this attitude” of the Biden Administration.
