Moscow. The Russian army has repulsed enemy attacks towards South Donetsk and Zaporizhia, destroying tanks, armored vehicles and manpower in the process. A spokesman for Russia’s Defense Ministry gave this information to the Russian news agency Sputnik. In southern Donetsk, advanced units of the Vostok group repelled an enemy offensive in the Makarivka area, he said. A tank, armored fighting vehicle and manpower were destroyed. The enemy retreated after suffering losses.
Another Ukrainian offensive in the direction of Zaporizhia was repulsed and the enemy retreated due to losses of manpower and equipment, the spokesman said. Russian forces also destroyed more than 50 Ukrainian militants and seven armored vehicles in southern Donetsk, he said.
