Aftab has already threatened to kill Shraddha Walker two years ago by cutting her into pieces, such a complaint was lodged with the police in Vasai, Maharashtra in the year 2020.
According to NDTV, sources in the Delhi Police said that Shraddha had written a complaint to the police after the beating that her family knew about her violent behaviour. The police is now investigating this complaint and the action taken by the Vasai police. Aftab’s parents are also in Delhi to record their statement.
Meanwhile, on 23 November 2020, Shraddha had told her friend Karan about the beating and also shared a picture with bruises on her face. Only after this Shraddha went to the hospital for examination.

What did Shraddha write in the letter?
“I Miss Shraddha Vikas Walkar, age 25, would like to report Aaftab Amin Poonawala, age 26, ph no-7972**15**, 8177**32** who currently lives at B-302, Regal Apartment, Vijay Vihar Complex near ARC Bhavan has been abusing me and been beating me up. Today he tried to kill met by suffocating me and he scares and blackmails me that he will kill me cut me up in pleces and throw me away. Its been 6 months he has been hitting me but I did not have the guts to go to the police because he would threaten to kill me. “
“His parents are aware that he beats me and that he tried to kill me. They also know about we living geather in east and they visit on weekends. I lived with him till date as We were supposed to get married anytime soon and had the blessings of his family, henceforth I am not willing to live with him so any kind of physical damage should be considered coming from him as he has been blackmailing me to kill me or hurt me whenever he sees me anywhere.”
At the same time, Shraddha’s parents were not in contact with her because they were against this marriage. He did not accept Shraddha and Aftab’s relationship.
