Moscow. A fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in the center of the Russian city of Belgorod, but there were no reports of casualties or injuries and residents were evacuated safely.
Regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in a telegram late on Friday: “According to preliminary information, the fire started in a boiler room located on the roof.
Firefighters are present at the spot.” Mayor Valentin Demidov said all residents of the multi-storey residential building had been safely evacuated and fire and rescue teams were examining rooms on the upper floors. There were no reports of casualties or injuries in the incident, according to local emergency officials.
