The Mega Millions website has only reported one winner with a ticket sold in the state of Maine.
The $1.35 billion prize goes to one winner who chooses an annuity with annual payments for 29 years. Winners of these lottery prizes almost always take the cash option, which for Friday’s drawing was estimated at $724.6 million.
Another fourteen tickets matched the five regular dances, which will be worth $1 million each. The multiplier was 2x, but none of the 14 winning tickets had paid the multiplier.
