Tokyo. Two passenger planes accidentally collided with each other at a major Tokyo airport on Saturday morning. However, there is no news of any casualty in the incident. According to Japanese media, a Thai Airways International flight bound for Bangkok (Thailand) collided with an EVA Airways flight bound for Taipei (Taiwan) at Haneda airport, after which the authorities closed the runway.

Television footage from the Tokyo Broadcasting System showed both planes parked on the runway at this time. TBS TV News aired video of both passenger planes stalled on the same runway.

However, there is no comment from both the airlines, the airport administration and the Transport Minister of Japan on the incident at present. The reason behind the incident is also not clear at the moment. According to reports published in Japanese media, the wing of one aircraft was reported damaged in the collision. Several flights were delayed due to the incident. While some domestic and international flights have been delayed.
