UK: Rishi Sunak to host India-England Week 2023 event, reiterates his commitment to FTA

London. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak hosted a special reception for India-England Week 2023. During this, he reiterated his commitment to the Free Trade Agreement (FTA). At the event, Rishi Sunak met several celebrities including Mary Kom, Shankar Mahadevan, Zakir Hussain and Sonam Kapoor. PM Sunak had reached the program with his wife Akshata Murthy.

In the program, he said that I and PM Modi are making a big progress with the 2030 roadmap. We both agree that there is a lot of potential in this area. We really want to have an ambitious deal that benefits both countries. We both want to bring new opportunities to merchants and consumers. The India Global Forum provides a platform for ministers, leaders and business people, among others, to deliberate on bilateral relations. The fifth annual UK-India Week event runs till Friday. At the function, IGF founder Manoj Ladwa said that we all have come here from different regions and backgrounds. Despite this, what unites us is our passion and contribution.
