Washington. Former US President Donald Trump arrived at a Miami federal court on Tuesday to formally surrender to a charge of illegally possessing classified documents. After surrendering, Trump will appear before the court and face the charges. He is accused of illegally storing classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Miami.

Trump’s motorcade arrived at the court complex on Tuesday afternoon, shortly before he was due to appear before a magistrate judge. Trump is the first US president to face federal crimes. Trump’s supporters waved to him as he arrived at the court, while his opponents were seen demonstrating.

This is the second criminal case the former US President is facing. Trump is planning to stake claim in next year’s presidential election. Trump is also accused in a New York court of falsifying business records related to payments made during the 2016 election campaign. He denied any wrongdoing and said he was being unfairly targeted by political opponents. After the court appearance, Trump will return to New Jersey, where he is expected to hold a news conference.

The former US President had already reached Florida. Trump was in trouble before appearing in court. Two top lawyers for the Republican leader have resigned. Now the discussion has started that which lawyer will question Trump on Tuesday. Trump’s legal team is desperately searching for a qualified attorney. According to CNN, his lawyer Todd Blanche may represent Trump in court on Tuesday. However, it is not clear whether he will finally pop the question or not.

His team spoke with several attorneys over the weekend about who would represent the former president in the case against Trump. However, in the end, there is confusion about which lawyer will appear in court on behalf of Trump on Tuesday. According to a report, several Florida lawyers have reached out to the Trump campaign on their own. Last Friday, two of Trump’s top lawyers, Jim Trusty and John Rowley, resigned. Trump then announced that Blanche would be appointed counsel in the matter. Ultimately, only future will tell what the outcome will be for Trump’s attorney on Tuesday.

Trump’s birthday is on Wednesday. The former President has appeared in the court a day before. Trump has been accused of stealing the country’s secret documents. The indictment was filed in a sealed envelope in federal court. It is alleged that while leaving the White House, Trump took about 100 documents related to the country’s defense and nuclear research to his home in Florida.

The investigation has started on the basis of the 49-page charge sheet filed against the former Republican President of the country. Of the 37 charges against Trump, 31 are based on the contention that he ‘knowingly withheld important and classified state documents’. Trump has denied this allegation. He hit back at the Joe Biden administration, accusing them of using the judiciary as a tool to harass him. All in all, Trump’s court appearance is going to be of international importance. Because whether or not Trump can be a candidate for the US presidential election to be held in 2024, it will be decided by the decision of this hearing.
