Sunak told in the interview that he briefly visited his hometown of Southampton last month to launch a new government scheme for the National Health Service (NHS) to boost high street pharmacies. He said, “I had not told my parents that I had come to Southampton. When my mother came to know about this, she was very angry as she had made burfi for me. However, later during a football match, he gave me that barfi.
Sunak said, “Coincidentally, on Monday, President Zelensky came to see me and we talked. He was hungry. So, I fed them the barfi made by my mother… It made her very happy.” Zelensky arrived in Britain in early May. During this, the Sunak-led government promised to provide long-range missiles to Ukraine.
