In the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh (UP), a woman along with her boyfriend killed her husband. First shot in the head, then one hand was chopped off with an axe. After this, the boyfriend buried the dead body by digging a six feet deep pit in his house. After four years, Ghaziabad police recovered the dead body on Monday while disclosing this case. At present, the wife of the deceased and her boyfriend have been arrested.
Chandraveer went missing on 5 October 2018
This incident is of village Sikrod in Nandgram police station area. Bhure Singh, who lives here, came to the police station Nandgram on 5 October 2018 and lodged a missing complaint of his brother Chandraveer Singh alias Pappu (46 years). The police made a lot of efforts to investigate, but after a long time without any clue, the final report was filed in the court, ending the investigation.

Crime branch in-charge Abdul Rehman Siddiqui started the investigation of Chandraveer Singh’s missing case. It came to know that his wife was having an affair with someone. The police interrogated Chandraveer’s daughter separately for two days. She works in beauty parlour. Assured the daughter that nothing would happen to her. The daughter told the police that the uncle from the neighborhood used to come to our house after we slept, and I suspect him to have made her father disappear.
Chandraveer was becoming a hindrance in love affair
The Crime Branch picked up 35-year-old Arun alias Anil, who lived in Chandraveer’s neighborhood. When questioned strictly, he spilled the whole incident. According to Arun, he had a love affair with Chandraveer’s wife Savita from the year-2017. Many times Chandraveer had even seen both of them in an objectionable condition. On this day, Chandraveer used to beat up Savita. To get Chandraveer out of the way, both made plans for his murder. At the same time, even before the murder, Arun had dug a six-feet deep pit in his house.

On the night of 28 September 2018, Chandraveer came home after drinking alcohol and went to sleep. Savita called boyfriend Arun by phone. Arun killed Chandraveer while sleeping by shooting him in the head with a gun. Put a bucket under the cot so that the blood dripping from the head does not spread on the floor. Chandraveer had a silver bracelet in his hand. Tried removing it first. When the string did not come out, Arun cut off one of his hands with an ax. After this, both took Chandraveer’s body to Arun’s house and buried it in the pit. Cemented plaster was made over the pit, so that no one would know anything. At the same time, Arun threw the severed hand near the chemical factory located in Sikrod village.
The wife had accused the plaintiff only
Ghaziabad’s SP Crime Deeksha Sharma said that his wife Savita and boyfriend Arun have been arrested for Chandraveer’s murder. The FIR of Chandraveer’s disappearance was lodged by his brother Bhura. Savita had accused Bhura only that Bhura had a hand in her husband’s disappearance, but the police did their investigation and reached the right accused. He told that both the accused are being sent to jail.
