A woman on Tuesday delivered a baby boy on the road near a government hospital in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati city after the hospital staff allegedly refused to admit her. A video is going viral on social media, in which a man is helping a pregnant woman in delivery, while two women are holding a sheet to cover her.
The woman was forced to give birth in front of the hospital after the staff allegedly refused to admit her. They told the woman that they could not admit her as no one was with her.
After coming out of the hospital, when the woman started having labor pains, some passers-by helped her. A person working at the primary health center helped the woman to deliver the child. After registering a protest by the local people, the hospital staff admitted the woman and the child.
